Day 2!
10 things you love in lolita.
Added to this I will also wear lace tights, have my spade shaped bag and hopefull more rings and a little this and that I found around and dark make-up. But now I reeeeaally need to go to bed sooo...

- Lace
Really! What is there NOT to love about lace? I didn't particularly care about it at all when I first got into the fashion, but after I aquired some items full of frilly, lacy goodness, I have become addicted. It's beautiful, add a perfect decorative touch to any piece and it's soooo soft to touch and wear. - Highwaisted skirts
There are few clothing items that give a nice shape then a high waisted skirt. I might have mentioned before that I'm not a particularly big fan of the skirt+shirt combo for myself, but for highwaisted skirts I take it back. - Induviduality
Lolita is a fashion with a lot of rules of what's right and what's wrong and what not. Yet even within these lines, people manage to create an amazing individuality by making the fashion their own by making their own clothes and accesories, or simply mix and match brand and offbrand to create awesome styles and coords! - Shoes
I have to admit that over the last years I have become a shoe addict and lolita definatly haven't helped with this! I've got so many pairs of shoes on my wishlist it's not even healthy. - Petticoats
Oh the fluffy goodness... I haven't been seriously into lolita for that long, but I already have 4 petticoats and I love them so much. I love to wear them too! I really enjoy the layer upon layer of fabric that makes my skirts and dresses poof and wave back and forth as I walk. - Roses
Sure I love roses on a general basis too, but give me almost anything rose related, may it be rose lace, rose print, rose accesories etc, etc, I am almost sure to love it to death. - Bags
There really aren't many other fashions where you can get bags shaped as cardsuits, houses, books and coffins. This alone is one of the reasons I love lolita bags so much. Not only do they work to carry things around in, but they work as an accesorie alone and can really help to complete an outfit! - Chiffon
A beautiful fabric for a beautiful fashion. What else can I say? It feels like heaven to wear! - Headpieces
This is really something I need to get more of. I love almost all kinds of headpieces ranging from simple headbands and barrettes to elaborate flower corsages to hats. They come in all different shapes and sizes and without at least SOMETHING on the head, an outfit seems a little unfinished. - JSKs
My favorite kind of garment in lolita because they are so versatile and can be worn in so many different ways. They are also perfect for me who is a giant fan of layers in outfits.
Added to this I will also wear lace tights, have my spade shaped bag and hopefull more rings and a little this and that I found around and dark make-up. But now I reeeeaally need to go to bed sooo...

What to bring...
Last night I figured out what I will wear and it will be straight out gothic for once. When I get home I will post a picture of the coord for you guys to see. But the reason I'm writing this isn't because of the outfit. But more because I'm stuck. This meet up will be a picnic meet. The one who arranges it will bring a big picnic blanket and sandwiches and teacups for all, but if we wanted something other then that we would have to bring it ourself.
So I really wish to make something for the other girls attending. But I'm not sure of what. I really want to make cupcakes, but the meet is 1 and half hour busdrive away from home, and I don't wish to bring too much to carry around since it's a bit of a walk from the bus stop to the final location too. So what I'm asking is...
Should I bring cupcakes? Or should I make cookies? Or should I just make some small gift for the others attending? So far there are 6 other lolitas on the guest list. And if I do end up making cupcakes, what kind would be the safest to make?
I would appreciate any suggestion. Thank you!

Day 1!
Okay, so I didn't have time to start the day I said I would, but then I'll start today instead!
10 things about your lolita bubble.

10 things about your lolita bubble.
- My lolita style is a dark style. It varies between gothic and dark classic and I absolutely love black and white coordinations. I just wish I could do more of them!
- When it comes to lolita I don't only love the fashion, but I love the aestethics and hobbies that follows with too. When I one day get a room of my own (completely for my own, not only a dorm), I will decorate this room in an elegant gothic style witch I love. I will have a shelf with framed pictures of my lolita idols and candles placed around the room.
- In my little bubble, all lolitas get along despite styles and experience. I am very happy that the lolitas I have chatted with so far have all been wonderful and friendly and I can't wait to include more of them in my little bubble!
- DIY is a very important part of my lolita bubble. Both when it comes to making clothes myself and modify them and to make my own decorations. I love that lolita is helping me so much with doing more myself instead of always buying things!
- My lolita bubble really needs a mascot... Hm. *thinks*
- Desiging clothes is one of my favorite past times, and I love to dream about and draw dress designs that I one day hope to be able to wear. At the moment I have the sketch of a full set (JSK, underskirt, shirt and hat) hung up on my wall and the day I am 99% positive I can do it right, I will make one set for me and 1 set for my best friend.
- To give and make things for others is something I really love. To see that my friends are happy is very important to me, and I also hope to someday be able to participate in a craft exchange for lolitas.
- My lolita bubble is important to me, because it's one of those things I can burry myself in. I can spend hours reading through tutorials and blogs, studying dresses and the history of brands and the fashion itself.
- Hopefully I will be able to expand my bubble sometime and be able to help other lolitas who are interested in this fashion to better understand it and become involved. Lolita is one of the few things I really wish to be able to teach others about. Even though I probably never will have the opportunity, I am making a presentation for beginners if the opportunity to have a panel ever should show up.
- Even though my bubble is quite small, I would still love to get to know other lolitas better. If anyone wish to get to know me better, just ask for my mail or MSN and I will be thrilled! One can never get enough friends!

Confirmed and 30 days of lolita!
I am so incredibly excited! The lolita meet up I talked about now has a set date and it is the date I can go! So in two weeks, on May 14th, I will be going to my first meet up ever, and I might even be able to enjoy the company of one of my best friends who also wants to go. Life couldn't be better at the moment! ... No wait. It could. I could be done with everything called costumes for Uppcon and exams, but that's another story. Hehe.
Other then that, I have decided to do a challenge. I read through the blog of another dear friend of mine and she decided to do a 30 day challenge. I thought that sounded fun, but what would be even more fun (and fitting for that matter) would be to modify the 30 day challenge to have a lolita theme. So that's exactly what I did and I will start with this challenge today! Here's the rundown:

7 Random Facts
So I kinda got nominated along with 14 other bloggers over at The Midnight Ballroom for a Versatile Blog... Thing. Anyway, the recipiant of this has to write 7 random facts about themselves, and that's what I'll do! Thanks for tagging me DuskRose!
1. I love BJDs. I could sit and stare at my babies for hours to end and make clothes for them without taking a break! They're so beautiful and their eyes are so full of life it's almost scary.
2. Cosplay is a very huge part of my life and one of the main reasons I socialize with others at all.
3. I'm afraid of the dark. I hate going home from school when it's dark outside and I don't like to open my eyes if I wake up in the middle of the night. Still I love it and find it very fascinating.
4. I tend to love things that scare me... *pokes thunderstorms, BJDs, good horror stories, monsters, clowns, the dark, mirrors (god the mirrors!! .. <3)*
5. I love too many clothing styles to keep with just one. My top favorites are lolita (of course), goth and steampunk and even if I love these I also love to mix and match looks and styles and experiment. Both for the better and for the worse.
6. When I eat I need to eat EVERYTHING on the plate. Down to the last drop of sauce. I constantly get comments on this from both family and friends, but if I don't scrape the plate I feel... weird afterwards. *thinks*
7. I hate open closets/cupboards/drawers. Not because I find it creepy, but because it looks terrible! They're supposed to be closed when you're not looking for anything in them!
Not very interesting facts, but facts at least! *chuckles* Anyway. I don't know who to nominate at all... But just to make it simple I will give it to my good friend Swofter! Have fun, hun!

I'm back!
Oh, wow... Would you look at that. It seems I suddenly headed off on an unannounced hiatus! It's weird how that seems to happen every time I go back home for holidays. But that's simply because a lot happens when I'm home. This time I met up with a lot of my friends and I spent a lot of well earned time with my boyfriend. <3 Yes, he deserves a mention and heart since he holds out with me even if we didn't see each other for three and half months.
Anyway! While I was back home stuffing my face with candy and food (come on, it was easter. I was allowed!), I got an awesome note on Livejournal! In May there will be a lolita meetup in Oslo, Norway! If I am lucky and they choose the 14th of May as a date (it's either that or the 21st), I will finally be able to attend my very first lolita meetup! I am very excited about this and I have already started to figure out what to wear. Of course I want to look my best on such an occation.
Other then this I don't really have much more to say. I have a lot of blogs to read and some comments to reply to, so I will get to that tonight and I will try to make next post more interesting! I hope everyone else have had a great easter holiday.

Sketching time!
So one of my favorite past times is simply to sketch out dream outfits or simply design outfits for fun. And since I drew two more today, I decided I wanna share some of them! Please ignore the bad quality of the pictures... This is what happens when a person forget her scanner at the other side of the country. *sighs*
Shiro Goth
One style that has been fascinating me for very long is the white gothic look. Drop all the black and replace it with white instead! Sure, it's hard to pull off, but that makes me even more eager to try it! This outfit I drew out from my lolita wishlist of all excisting items I could find around the net. I so wish I actually had the money to put this all together!
Alice gone Punk
This outfit is designed around my patchwork skirt and it's inspired by a comment I got on it in the sew_loli community on liverjournal where a user said the cardsuits and clock patches reminded her of an Alice gone punk. So of COURSE I had to try to make something out of it! With a white short sleeved blouse, a punked up black apron and a good pair of Dr. Martens makes this truly a dream outfit of mine!
Classy Ero
Ero lolita is also a "substyle" I've been fairly interested in. It's not very often it's seen done well, so I wanted to sketch out an outfit that would work as ero lolita and be more classy then any kind of slutty. I hope I succeeded!
So what do you guys think? Any constructive critisism would be nice!
